AVAILABLE RETIRED DOGS


​Please ask for information if interested in one of our retired gsp. We are now placing our retired GSP’s to suitable loving homes. These dogs will be between 9 and 10 years of age. All retired dogs are obedience trained… thus they will also be more laid back. As they reach retirement, they are starting to slow down and aren’t able to keep up with the younger dogs.

In the past we have experienced unnecessary injuries directly caused by the younger stronger, more agile dogs. And in order to avoid unnecessary injury, we are now looking for more options as these dogs are still healthy and full of life as they reach retirement. They just need a more relaxed environment. Therefore, we would love to have our retired dogs in loving and easy going homes where they can be spoiled and relax with the family! 

These dogs are perfect for single dog homes. I know there’s plenty of homes not willing to go through the young puppy stage making these beautiful older dogs the perfect fit. 

German shorthair pointers can live up to 16 years of age. Again ask for details if interested.

Brother's Thunderstruck Heritage

Thunder is a healthy 10 year old. He is obedience, crate and kennel trained. Thunder has been one of our main studs here at our kennels and has produced some beautiful, healthy puppies. He is out of our original bloodline from Brother. It would be best if Thunder would be the only dog at home. He is a mature male and gets along well with other dogs. However, I wouldn’t put Thunder in a home if there’s other dogs that like to challenge or bully. Thunder is an alpha male and would stand his ground. Thunder is a great alarm, but once he learns who his neighbors are, he would only be barking at strangers. Thunder has not suffered any injuries and has had no health issues therefore I would expect him to still have many years left in his life. 

Cecilia You're Breaking My Heart Heritage ​

Cecilia is a healthy, 9 year old female with no prior health issues. She has produced several beautiful litters. She is a very sweet, affectionate girl and loves to snuggle. She very much enjoys the love and attention people give her. Cecelia is obedience, crate, and kennel trained. She gets along well with other dogs but can be a little bit more laid-back and reserved. She is perfect for an older family. If she had a choice, Cecilia would much rather be an inside dog.

Stormi is a healthy, truly sweet 10 year old female. Stormi has had no health issues. She has produced several beautiful litters throughout the years. If you’ve visited our kennels, you will remember Stormi. She will sit on your side and patiently wait for your love and attention. Stormi’s affection is on another level… she’s perfect. She will always respect your boundaries. Stormi’s could be described as your Velcro dog so if you’re not keen on that, she would not be your type of dog. 

Remington Lous Only Lady

DOB September 15, 2013

Remington is a healthy 9 year old female with no health issues. She has produced several beautiful litters. Remington has a much more reserved temperament. She is not one to come up to just anyone for love. Remington is much more reserved in who she accepts in her circle. You would have to win her trust but once you do, you’ll know it. Remington can be a little independent on restroom breaks she likes to leave the property to handle business outside. She has had lots of freedom here at our kennels. On every restroom break, she leaves just to go potty and then returns. She would be perfect and a single dog family. She makes a great alarm and will definitely let you know if any strangers are around. Overall, she is a well-rounded nine-year-old female.
